David Millar is riding Scott’s Addict bike in the Tour. The frameset is one of the lightest available (claimed 790g) and should stand Millar in good stead when the race reaches the mountains. The entire Saunier-Duval squad are riding the same bikes, but Millar has got his bike specially sprayed up for the Tour.
With what we can only imagine is a dragon adorning the head tube, and joined by a tartan print, showing his Scots roots, along the top and seat tube, it’s certainly distinctive.
Can you guess who this bike belongs to yet? |
Tartan decals everywhere |
We’re not sure if we like the tartan look though… |
Mavic Cosmic Carbone wheels |
Millar’s bike is equipped with the latest Mavic Cosmic Carbone wheels, the first all carbon-spoked wheelset from the French manufacturer. Millar seems to have no problem with the new SRAM groupset, and his bike is decked out with Force components, while Ritchey supply all the finishing kit.
We also spotted the new SRAM time trial shifters on a Saunier Duval Prologue bike.
