At the IceBike show wheel specialists DT Swiss showed off a comprehensive new range of road racing wheelsets, each of which has a carbon-fibre rim, aero spokes and choice of tubular or clincher tyre format.
There are three models in the RRC range, each designated by the depth of its rim: 66, 46 and 32, with claimed rim weights of 770g, 600g and 570g respectively for the clincher version.
The hubs are based on the highly-regarded DT Swiss 240 model while the wheels are laced and built in Switzerland. DT’s RWS skewers complete the specification.
Prices are expected to be £2,000 for the clincher wheels and £1,800 for the tubulars regardless of rim depth. More on RCUK soon.
