Eurobike '06 – Scott's new Addict

Scott have been busy working on their 2007 bikes, and we were certainly impressed. First up, the new Addict is their latest carbon frame, which weighs a very competitive 790g. Key to this design is the increasingly popular integrated seatpost – which helps to save some weight. Scott have also removed the layer of carbon which is applied to frames for aesthetics, as well as carbon dropouts and carbon front mech mount.

The top of the range Addict Limited, with Record carbon, Campag Hyperion Ultra carbon wheels, Time carbon pedals and Ritchey carbon finishing kit, hits the scales at 12.98lbs. Four models feature in this range, and they all feature great looking paintjobs and more sublte decals – we’re very much liking them.

Looks good whichever way you look at it

This white Speedster S20 was a highlight – alloy main frame and carbon seat stays
