FIRST LOOK: Cyclo-Cross Bikes

The general overview from the Eurobike show was certainly Carbon, however although there weren’t many new road bikes to look at there were a load of TT, track and cross machines added to mainstream brands.

On the ‘Cross front there are thousands of choices now available and all the major players have a ‘cross bike in their range. Once upon a time ‘cross meant an old steel training frame and a bunch of worn-out road parts… now it’s full carbon this and that and all the knobs and whistles… plenty of high end carbon deep sections and some nice looking new rubber too – It’s a ‘cross bike bonanza!
