With the London 2012 Olympic Games on the horizon, fans can don Great Britain’s red, white and blue after the Team GB replica kit went on sale for the first time in more than a decade.

The clothing, manufactured in Italy by adidas, has the same performance qualities as kit worn by British riders and is available now through Wiggle, with 15 other retailers to receive stock soon.

“Donning British colours for training and competing is always the ultimate honour and it’s great that cycling fans can now share that feeling with riders on the British team,” said three-time Olympic gold medallist Bradley Wiggins.

“It will be great to see British fans wearing the kit when they’re out riding, at upcoming races and major cycling events. They’ll be a massive factor spurring us on in London 2012.”

The eight-piece collection includes a short sleeve jersey (£62), long sleeve jersey (£90), arm warmers (£36) and bib shorts (£90). Accessories include racing gloves (£36), socks (£12) and a cotton cap (£18) to finish the look. A kid’s jersey (£42) is available for young fans.

Wiggins added: “The kit we use is superb. There’s no doubt it technically helps boost our performance and the fabrics have been developed for maximum comfort.”
