Last week we gave you a sneak peek at the latest from Kinesis UK, as the company celebrates its 10 year anniversary by launching the Decade range of bikes. Following our visit to Core Bike Show last week we were able to get a proper good look at the new frames in question.
Here’s the Decade Convert2. Based on the popular Racelight T frame, its USP is the Swopout dropouts (borrowed from Upgrade Bikes sister brand DMR) which allow the frame to be run with or without gears. Here it is pictured in full fixie mode.
This is the Tripster, a frame that can roll on 700c road wheels or alternatively 26in MTB wheels. The aluminium frame will be mated to a carbon fork and there’s mounts for disc brakes, mudguards and racks – the ideal commuter bike? Perhaps so…
We’ll have more specific information including prices soon. Meanwhile, head to www.kinesisbikes.co.uk.
