Developed by Andreas Kambanis of the London Cyclist blog  with LDN Creative, the London Bike Shop app for iPhone contains listings of 212 London bike shops. The listings include details such as opening times, contact number and pictures of a store and were gathered either through bike shop websites or by calling up individual stores.

The app allows the user to view a bike shop in one of two ways. Using the iPhone GPS, the user can browse a list of nearby stores sorted by distance. Alternatively they can look at Google’s map of London and pick out the store they want. They can then find out more about the store and even screen tap to call them up to book a repair or find out more details.

Alongside with the store listings, details of London’s bike cafes are included and can be seen in the search results. There are also mobile bike repair services listed for those short on time.
