Tucked away on the Continental stand at this week’s Madison IceBike trade show was an attractive addition to the ranks of the German manufacturer’s performance road rubber in the shape of a 25mm version of the proven Grand Prix 4000S clincher.
Wearing the same tread pattern as the 25c version of the preceding GP4000 model, the new tyre is identical in construction to the 700x23c GP4000S and has Conti’s Black Chili tread compound plus a Vectran puncture protection belt.
Weighing a claimed 230g and offered with folding bead only, the 25c version is priced at £39.95 and is available in the UK as of now.
