Shimano PD-A600 pedal
The latest model to join Shimano’s stable of road pedals is the lightest SPD-cleat-compatible yet and is pitched at the high end of the non-competitive road market with what is described as Ultegra-level bearings, appearance and finish and a single-sided design along the lines of the PD-A520 model.
Compatible with any SPD-type shoe sole including mtb and some touring shoes, the PD-A600 weighs 286g per pair, has a cleat retention mechanism adjustable for ease of entry and exit and a wide and supportive platform for the shoe. It will suit sportive and touring riders wanting a pedal with a specification to match Ultegra or even Dura-Ace and has an SRP of £79.99.
