High pressure tyres and carbon rims are now a reality for many brands.

Zipp have several new products and their wheels are now well established as market leaders in carbon technology. The 808 is more ‘aero’ with a dimpled surface and deeper profile.

The new 404 wheelset looks superb and retails for £799. Zipp go for an aluminium braking surface to the high pressure version. They have wonderful quality hubs and aero stailess steel spokes. Powertap hubs will also be available built into Zipp wheels.
