Season-specific socks aimed right at the moment; what more could we cyclists ask for as a pleasant autumn segues into the potentially inclement weather of early winter?
As usual, clothing purveyors Prendas Ciclismo have come up with the goods, offering in this case a sock in which the twin properties of Coolmax and Thermolite are combined to what we hope and expect will be great effect. The former guarantees coolness when the feet start to overheat while the latter keeps them toasty should the temperature drop. There’s some carbon in there as well for durability.
They look good, fit well and have the feel that might be expected of socks able to take the wearer right through that tricky period prior to the donning of full winter socks. More once we have tried them in the varied conditions expected over the next month or so.
