Rapha Touring Shorts £70

For 2008 Rapha is signalling something of a new direction in its range, with the release of these Touring shorts. The chaps at Rapha have designed them to be worn over your Lycra shorts on those occasions you might want to look a little less like a cyclist: commuting, longer riders, popping to the café for a mid-morning espresso for example.

Their styling is contemporary, with a slim fit that doesn’t flap around excessively when dashing around the streets. Their just-above-the-knee length is well considered and bulky seams that can chafe are avoided with a ‘gusset’ inside. An internal fly guard, elasticated waist adjusters, zipped front pocket and reflective piping complete the additional features.

Available in Charcoal Grey and sizes 30, 32, 34, 36 and 38″.
