The Vulpine Ultralight Quilted Thermal Jacket was a new addition to the British firm’s range for winter 2014/15 and is a super-warm, breathable and water resistant piece for cold days, which looks as good off the bike as on it.
Built around a super-light Primaloft Gold filling, the jacket offers plenty of warmth and a comparatively good level of breathability, but it’s best for pootling around town or wearing off the bike, rather than the club run or chain gang.
The water resistant outer layer offers an element of protection against snow, short showers and drizzle, and is designed to dry quickly in the event of a longer downpour.
An internal zipped chest pocket, two zipped hand pockets, a high-cut neck and reinforced fabric for the shoulders complete the jacket.
