CamelBak Podium Ice bottle ($25)
CamelBak have reintroduced the Podium Ice bottle – but this isn’t any old water bottle.
The American firm’s top-end insulated bottle is now constructed with ‘aerogel’ insulation and claims to keep water cold for four times longer than a standard sports bottle.
The taste-free polypropylene bottle has an anti-bacterial finish, while(as with all Camelbak Podium bottles) it features the firm’s drip-free ‘Jet Valve’ cap, which means there’s no need to open the nozzle while riding – instead you squeeze the bottle to release fluid and the nozzle reseals when you are finished. Ideal for when you want a quick swig.
The bottle is available in red, blue and silver, and costs $25 (UK price to be confirmed).
