Rocky's Now Road Ready

Rocky Mountain have launched into the road market and produced three fine looking bikes. Now they’ve added a custom paint shop to their website so you can specify the colours and decals of your very own…

The site allows customers to select their frame from Rocky Mountain’s Solo road line, personalise their frame from over a thousand paint scheme and decaling options, then custom spec their bike with Gruppo component options.

“We’re very pleased to offer this new service to our customers,” said Jean Poisson, General Manager of Rocky Mountain Bicycles. “Our philosophy has always been to build our bikes to a higher standard of quality and greater level of innovation to give the rider a better, more enjoyable riding experience. To allow the rider to personalize their bike this way is a natural extension of that philosophy”.

The new Solo bike line for 2006 consists of ultra-light, fast, hand-built road frames for both the professional racer and weekend rider, and features top-of-the-line materials including unidirectional carbon fibre. “Every one of our Solo bikes is hand-built to our benchmark quality and attention to detail,” continued Poisson. “You really feel the unique difference when you ride one, and with our new site you’ll now be able to customize your bike as uniquely as you wish.”

Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, Rocky Mountain designs, tests and crafts a quiver of high-quality, hand-built bikes in their Delta, BC factory. View their Custom build site for more information or visit our Rocky Mountain Brand Page.
