Scott CR1 & Scott Speedster
The two remaining models in Scott’s range are the CR1 and the Speedster.
The CR1 is a sportive-oriented bike and comes in two models: the 10 (£1,749) and the 20 (£1,399) both built around a carbon frame with the former featuring a Shimano Ultegra groupset and the latter 11-speed 105.
The Speedster is Scott’s alloy-framed bike, made from 6061 aluminum, although the bottom of the range Speedster 60 is only single butted alloy, rather than double on the 20, 30 and 40 models. Groupset-wise the Speedster 20 (£899) features an 11-speed Shimano 105 group, the 30 (£849) goes with Shimano’s latest Tiagra 4600 gruppo (which uses a four-arm chainset designed, like the upscale Dura-Ace, Ultegra and 105 groupsets), the 40 (£749) comes with Shimano Sora and the 60 comes with a non-series ST-A070 seven-speed (£549).
