Shimano have confirmed UK pricing for the recently-announced model year 2017 Dura-Ace groupset.
As we reported from the launch in June, the latest incarnation of Shimano’s flagship groupset includes the option of a power meter integrated with the chainset (though pricing for that particular component is to be confirmed), while other updates include a ‘shadow’ rear derailleur which hugs the cassette to protect it from crash damage, the first Dura-Ace level disc brakes and programmable shifting for the electronic Di2 gruppo. The new rear mech is also capable of accommodating a climb-friendly 11-30t cassette.
– Inside story: the making of Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 –
While Shimano launched the groupset under banner of Dura-Ace R9100, that refers to the mechanical gruppo, with R9150 the label for the new Dura-Ace Di2 components, and R9170 the moniker for those components required for Shimano’s new Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brake setup.
Availability is yet to be confirmed but Shimano have announced pricing, so here you go.
