Bowman Palace
Named after the Crystal Palace circuit that’s home to London’s finest mid-week crit, the Bowman Palace is designed to be ridden hard. And, not that we’re saying anything about crit racing, but chances are it can probably survive a crash or two…
They’ve been so popular thus far that Bowman have sold out of the 1,200g (claimed weight for a 56cm) frame in all sizes, but are taking deposits for the next batch of frames, due to land any day now.
But Bowman haven’t thrown comfort to the wind in an attempt to build a pure race machine, and the Palace has custom tube profiles to help remove that teeth rattling stigma that stuck to the old alloy frames.
They’ve also gone for a rider-friendly external cable routing to make life a little easier for the home mechanic, and topped of the build with a pretty smart colour scheme. We’ve got a Palace in for review as we speak, so keep your eyes peeled.
Price: £650 (frameset only)
