Stage 3, Waregem to Compiègne was the longest stage of the race and
the riders faced a strong head wind all day that saw them finish down on schedule.
The area is linked with the Paris Roubaix Classic as Compiègne is the
start of that race (Luckily for the riders they were spared the cobbles) – report.
