Designed with input from multiple cyclo-cross world champion and current world time trial champion Hanka Kupfernagel, the new Cross Premium 3V shoe from Vittoria is a ‘cross-specific version of the Italian specialist manufacturer’s Premium MTB shoe.

Offered in the same range of European sizes from 36-49, in half sizes 38.5 to 44.5 and in the same size range on a women-specific last, the shoe employs a new anti-mud mesh for the upper to improve riding comfort and durability. The MTB shoe’s buckle-secured top strap has been dropped in favour of a Velcro strap to match the other two, resulting in a small price reduction for the ‘cross version.

The sole of the Cross Premium 3V has Vittoria’s Carbon Heart carbon-fibre midsole stiffener. The heavily-cleated outsole gets stud mountings to make it better suited to the demands of the mud-plugging discipline.
