Legendary French bike brand Vitus is back for 2011 with an all-new road and mountain bike line-up designed from scratch and using the latest frame materials and components. The six model road range includes alloy- and carbon-framed bikes at prices ranging from £649.99 to £2199.99.
The road range starts with the aluminium alloy-framed Razor with Shimano Sora components at £649.00, proceeding via the Shimano Tiagra-equipped Zenium at £799.99.
Longer distance leisure riders are catered for with the carbon framed Dark Plasma, which is offered with Tiagra at £1149.99 and Shimano 105 components at £1499.99.
For more serious competition, the top end of the scale features the flagship Venon VR and Vitesse VR models, which both feature a super high modulus carbon-fibre frame and fork with a 3K weave finish and a choice of either Shimano 105 or Ultegra groupsets, including corresponding wheelsets, at £1799.99 and £2199.99 respectively.
Last and least expensive, the £259.99 VEE-1 “singlespeed” is a simple, reliable, no-fuss bike for morning commutes, pub runs or weekend towpath spins.
