Wilier combine heritage and style into a reasonably priced package in the Mortirolo Centaur, with this the Lampre team replica edition specced with Campagnolo Centaur components.

The frame is strikingly simple, with straight large tubes – nothing like the curved and profiled tube shapes on the Iozard higher up the range. Underneath the eloquently finished white, blue and pink paint with naked carbon weave lies a high modulus uni-directional carbon frame and fork, with wishbone seatstays and de rigueur enlarged bottom bracket shell to provide a large junction for each tube that ends there.

Onto the frame is hung a full Campagnolo Centaur alloy 10-speed groupset (ignore the carbon cranks on the test bike), Ritchey finishing kit, Fulcrum Racing 5 wheels and Wilier’s own branded tyres. There’s six frame sizes to choose from, starting at XS and ending with XXL.
