The 2010 Dragon Ride will take place a week earlier in 2010. The annual invasion of the South Wales hillsides is to take place on Sunday 6th June.

For the first time in the event’s seven year history, organiser Lou Lusardi is not planning to make any significant changes to the route. The start venue will once again be at Pencoed Technology Park, just off the M4 at junction 35.

Improvements will be made to the traffic management to reduce car parking congestion. The layout of the start will also be revised with a more compact start/finish area and event “village” site.

The 3500 places available for the event will, in traditional fashion, be made available from midnight on the 27/28th December 2009. However, corporate packages will be available from early in October; these will include accommodation, event entry and pre/post event hospitality.
