Details of this years Challenge Rides, the only sportive events to raise
money to improve cycling for all, have been announced by CTC the
UKs national cyclists organisation.
The David Duffield Challenge (3rd June in Corsham, near Bath), the Ron Kitching
Challenge (23rd June, York) and the Phil & Friends Challenge (12th August,
Peak District) offer a range of distances from family routes to 100km or 150km
and raise vital funds for the campaigning work of CTC Charitable Trust.
Challenge Rides co-ordinator, Matt Mallinder, said: These rides arent
just challenging sportives in their own right; they make possible work like
this years successful battle to clear the name of convicted cyclist Daniel
Cadden.
David Duffield Challenge – June 3
TV commentator David Duffield hosts this ride on his favourite new routes around
Wiltshire. The day includes an invitation for tea at the home of Alex Moulton.

a genuine 33% climb.
