The Cycle Show’s move to ExCel from the Islington Business Centre went smoothly, with much more space allowing for more exhibitors and some impressive stands from the likes of Specialized and Trek.
1st prize – Kinesis Racelight T
2nd prize – Exposure Joystick light
The turnout over the weekend was good, with thousands of people making the trek over to ExCel and being treated to plenty of new 2006 products. You can see some of the highlights from the show here.
RoadCyclingUK.com had a stand, sharing with our buddies over at Bikemagic.com and SheCycles.com. We weren’t there just to show of these online magazines though – we were running a fantastic competition with a host of rather attractive prices. As the competition was so easy (all you had to do was register on the site) you entered in your hundreds.
The top prize, a Kinesis Racelight T winter trainer was drawing most attention – Matthew Whittle’s name was the first out of the hat. Congratulations Matthew!
The runner-up prizes were pretty fine too. Martin Sheldon gets his hands on one of the brand new Exposure Joystick lights, and the choice of a USE carbon handlebar or a Specialized Decibel helmet.
Michelin donated a pair of Carbon 700x20c tyres, Clive Holland gets those.
Last but not list, Bob Logan, Ranjan Ranjendram and Adam Hickey get a Petzl head torch each.
Thanks to everybody who took part and popped by our stand over the weekend. If you’re one of the lucky winners you’ll be hearing from us shortly…
