They’ve just launched the Tour route and in the process the Etape. It’s a stinker! Foix-Loudenvielle 196km – Monday July 16th 2007

L’Etape du Tour is coming back in the Pyrénées for an original stage. You will be received in the traditional village in Foix over 2 days. The 15th edition route will be very difficult. In a first time, you will climb the col de Port, and successively the Portet d’Aspet and the col de Menté. You will have the chance to open the Port de Balès, new link between the Barousse woods and the Oueil valley.
You will finish this stage by climbing the col de Peyresourde and the descent to the classic finish area, Loudenvielle.
