The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity want you to take part in a four day ride from Paris to London, raising £10,000 in the process. Taking place from 23 to 28 July, you will arrive at the Champs-Elysees just in time to see whether Lance Armstrong takes his 7th straight win in the Tour de France.
Leaving the capital, the route sweeps north; passing through ancient medieval towns, past famous battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt and the usual stunning scenery you would expect France to boast.
Not to be outdone, the Kent countryside will provide the final mileage, before crossing the finish line at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. To take part in this exciting and challenging ride, a £100 registration fee is required. It’s then down to you to raise £900 in sponsorship money.
You’ve got plenty of time; the closing date for entering is 24 June. To register and get your fundraising pack, visit the website or contact the organisers, Challenge Events on 020 7916 5678 or email [email protected].
