Kinross Cycling Club have released details of their new summer Grand Prix.
The series will take in eight events – three hill climbs, three flat time trials, a hilly time trial and a one-mile sprint – with competitors scoring a maximum of 50 points for winning an individual round.
The Grand Prix champion will be the rider with the most points after eight events. The series is free to enter and open to all club members (annual membership costs £10.00).
“This is an exciting year for Kinross Cycling Club, with our first sportive, Sportive Kinross, to be staged in April and now this our first ever Grand Prix series of events for local cyclists to get involved with in a relatively informal but competitive format,” said club chairman Paul Zarb.
