The first CycleOps Power Road Sportive, set to take place in Llandovery, Wales, on May 21 is fast approaching, with less than one month until the off.
Starting at Llandovery rugby club, the sportive offers an 85-mile route, with 2,500m climbing, or 55-mile ride, with 2,000m climbing, of superb riding through the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales.
The series then heads to Marshbrook, England on July 2. Selkirk, Scotland holds the final ride on July 23. Each event offers an 80-100 mile Classic route, as well as a 40-50 mile Standard option.
Courses are fully marked but every rider is given a small backup map. Energy food sponsor High5 will fuel the feed stops, with mechanics also on hand to help out with any technical problems.
Entry for any of the events costs £27, which also includes parking, camping, showers, prizes and bike washing facilities.
