For the fourth year running, Rapha and Cyclefit will host an Etape Evening at the Charlotte Street Hotel, London, on Wednesday June 22, covering both acts of this year’s Etape du Tour.
Organisers have opted to run two Etapes in 2011; stage 19 from Modane to Alpe d’Huez (109km) on Saturday July 11 and the 208km stage nine from Issoire to Saint Flour on July 17.
Following recent trips to Alpe d’Huez and the Massif Centrale, and detailed reconnaissance of the routes, staff from Rapha will present both routes in full and Cyclefit will give advice on tactics, gearing and hydration.
Only 80 places are available for each session at a cost of £15 per session, or £20 for both. Pre-presentation drinks and canapes will be served at 6.30pm, with the presentation for Etape I beginning at 7pm and the presentation for Etape II starting at 8.30pm.
