If the weather holds good, this Friday’s racing at Herne Hill should be spectacular. All categories are full, and a large crowd is expected. The adrenalin will certainly be flowing in both the racers and the spectators!
Don’t expect a procession of boring racing. |
Why will it be a great days racing? Because there will be over 100 hundred riders, including a handful of international guests racing. You can see the full list here.
Add to the mix the legendary pacer Bruno Walrave who, on his Triumph Thunderbird, will be heading up the Prix de BPA Stayers race.
And you can be sure that the grandstands will be packed. Recent news about the future of the velodrome means there will be a strong turnout. Herne Hill needs your support and commitment to ensure the future of the 100-year-old venue for the future of British Cycling.
So, all you need to do is buy some tickets. They are reasonably priced, and can now only be bought on the day.
Some close racing is expected. |
