Trail Break’s Sunday Sportive series comes to an end this weekend when it heads to Dunsfold Park in Surrey, so if you’ve been wanting to sample one of this excellent sportives, this is your last chance until next year.
Better known for the hugely successful BBC Top Gear show, the Dunsfold Park is used for the second year and is used as the HQ for the event, where riders will roll out of and into the Surrey Hills and North Downs. A meaty 124km course is on offer for those picking the longest distance, and is said to be ideal for the shortening autumn days, with mid and short route options catering to a full range of riders. All routes are fully signed, with maps provided and support vehicles and stations along the way.
Trail Break says: “The event caps a record year for the Sunday Sportives, with over 5,000 riders taking part throughout a season crowned by the sell-out, 1,500 strong Southern Sportive in September.”
This weekends autumn outing from Dunsfold is the last before the series takes it’s Winter break. 2010 is already in planning though and will launch in March with a brand new pre season event, followed by the Princes Risborough Sportive on April 25th.
