Magnus Backstedt to ride the Severn Bridge Sportive

"Big Maggie" with "Shiny Boy"

2004 Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Backstedt has confirmed his entry to the forthcoming Severn Bridge Sportive, taking place on Sunday 17th October. The event, which starts and finishes at the historic Castle Combe motor racing circuit, takes in the stunning scenery of the south Cotswolds before crossing the original Severn Bridge into south Wales.

Once there, the route splits, with the longer route heading for the Forest of Dean and Gloucester before heading for home, whilst the shorter route heads back across the River Severn into England to make its way back to Castle Combe.

The event is fully supported with a very well signed route, electronic timing, event photography, mechanical support, well stocked feeds and much more.
