Last time on UK soil – Good Friday

Bradley Wiggins is all set to take on the established UK based riders in the British Time Trial Championships on the 3rd of September. He’ll take on the likes of Stuart Dangerfield and Michael Hutchinson over a 34 mile course based on a 11 (or so) mile lap covered three times.

There are some other tough battles esewhere on the programme too. In the Women’s event Julia Shaw and Wendy Houvenaghel will take each other on over two laps of the lanes-based course.

In the Juniors Alex Dowsett and Glendene CC team mates Andrew Griffiths and Luke Rowe look likely to duke it out for the title. The Under 23 championship is a complete lottery with several names returning from foreign teams and some established UK riders with a lot to prove.

The championships are a combined promotion of British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials and sposored by East Street Cycles (Farnham), Porsche Centre Guildford and M. Collard Waste Management Services. The event is organised by Farnborough and Camberley CC, on behalf of CTT London West District Committee.

Women (2 laps) (23 mile) from 14.20pm
Espoir (2 laps) (23 mile) from 15.00pm
Junior Men (2 laps) (23 mile) from 9.00am
Junior Women (2 laps) (23 mile) from 9.00am
Masters (2 laps) (23 mile) from 9.36am
