Chasing Legends to show in UK cinemas for one night only

Don’t miss your chance to see Chasing Legends on October 21

Chasing Legends, the film which follows HTC-Columbia through the 2009 Tour de France, will show in UK cinemas for one night only on October 21.

The high definition film takes viewers on an intense and personal journey through the most arduous bike race on the planet, from the Monaco Prologue into the Pyrenees, the Alps and finally, via Mont Ventoux, to Paris.

Chasing Legends shows the Tour through the eyes of HTC-Columbia, who delivered Mark Cavendish to six stage victories.

The 94 minute film is narrated by Phil Liggett and features a cast of the sport’s most celebrated heroes, from Eddy Merckx to Lance Armstrong.

The movie tracks the humble but no-less heroic origins of ‘Le Tour’, from the inaugural 1903 event to what has become the modern-day epic, showing the highs, lows, triumphs and tragedies of those who make it through three long weeks of blood, sweat and tears to the fanfare and glory that awaits on the Champs Elysees.

A live Q&A with Cavendish, Liggett and director Jason Berry will be beamed via satellite from London’s O2 Cineworld to all cinemas after the film.

Tickets are on sale now. Head this way to see if Chasing Legends is being shown at a cinema near you.
