GB Olympic Stars to ride Tour of Britain

Following their stunning success in the Team Pursuit at the Olympic Games earlier today, Bradley Wiggins and Geraint Thomas can expect a thunderous welcome from British fans when they line up for the Tour of Britain in London on Sunday 7th September.

Both Wiggins and Thomas will be riding The Tour of Britain for their respective professional teams, Team Columbia and Barloworld.

They won’t be the only Olympic medallists on show; Chris Newton, Bronze Medallist over the weekend in the Points Race, will be leading the Rapha – Condor – Recycling.co.uk squad at the Tour.

ITV4 will broadcast a nightly highlights programme between 19.00 and 20.00, each night of The Tour of Britain
