Bouncing back from disappointment in Portsmouth, Rapha-Condor-Sharp moved back into second place in the Halfords Tour Series team standings with a fine second successive win in Exeter for Dean Downing on top of the London-based squad’s team win in the same race.

The win puts Rapha – Condor – Sharp second in The Halfords Tour Series standings, four points behind leading team Motorpoint – Marshalls Pasta.

Rapha – Condor – Sharp’s  Zak Dempster and Dean Windsor joined Downing in the top five placings to secure the team win, while Graham Briggs added the nights Boardman Bikes Sprint competition to Rapha’s haul.

Ultimately, the evening boiled down to a battle between Rapha – Condor – Sharp and Endura Racing in front of the largest crowds seen yet in The Halfords Tour Series.

Liam Holohan took the lead in the Boardman Bikes Sprint competition with third at each of the first two primes before winning the third and final Boardman Bikes Sprint.
