With the Olympic time trials just a day away, Great Britain’s entrants have been riding the course.
The women will roll out from the start at Hampton Court Palace in the London Borough of Richmond from 12.30pm, with the men’s race due to get underway at 2.15pm.
Tour de France winner, Bradley Wiggins, will be hoping to ease the disapointment of the men’s road race last Saturday where Mark Cavendish finished behind the selection, despite his best efforts and those of his teammates.
Chris Froome, not captured in these pics from Surrey County Council, will be hoping to do likewise.
Lizzie Armitstead and Emma Pooley both delivered stellar performances in last Sunday’s women’s road race. Armitstead will seek to add another medal to Sunday’s silver, while Pooley will hope to add an Olympic title to the world title she won in 2010.
