Cannondale Pro Cycling had a successful cobbled Classics campaign with strong performances from team leader Peter Sagan.
The Slovak sensation, still only 23, took victory at Gent-Wevelgem and finished second to Fabian Cancellara (RadioShack-Leopard) at E3 Harelbeke and the Tour of Flanders.
Sunday’s performance at the Amstel Gold Race may have left Sagan and his team-mates disappointed (the man himself blamed the sudden heat after an early-season campaign conducted almost entirely in bitter cold), but he will go again in today’s La Fleche Walloone with hopes of a second major victory in a one-day race.
Here’s a look at life on the road with CPC, including interviews with Sagan and team manager, Roberto Amadio.
