Racing returns to Cublington Circuit

This Venetian glass trophy has been produced for the race

Racing will return to Buckinghamshire’s Cublington Circuit in an event organised by the Anders Electronics TMG Horizon Racing Team.

The British Cycling Regional A race, for second, third and fourth category riders, will take place on July 10.

“It’s great to get this course back,” said organiser Neil Wass. “Most of us have raced on it in the past. It’s a tough one.

“You’ve got a nasty prevailing headwind on the ridge towards Whitchurch which often causes splits, and the finishing hill up to Cublington should ensure that only the strongest riders get to the front.”

Science In Sport are offering up bonus prizes for a points competition within the race and a Venetian glass trophy has been produced for the event.

Entry costs £17 in advance (open until Sunday June 19), or £20 on the day. Full details on the British Cycling website.
