RoadCyclingUK can reveal that the RCUK Trek Fantasy Tour de France game will launch on June 10 – with a Trek Madone 5.2 worth £2,800 up for grabs as top prize.

Fantasy Tour de France, which is completely free to enter, lets users pick nine riders to guide them to glory come Paris on July 24.

The winner will receive a Trek Madone 5.2, while second prize is a top-end carbon Bontrager wheelset and third prize is full Leopard Trek team kit. Spot prizes will be awarded to the top manager for each week.

The 2011 Tour kicks off on July 2, with four summit finishes, including stage 18 on July 21, finishing atop the 2,645m Col du Galibier.

Directeur sportif’s have a €65 million budget from which to choose their riders, as well as a bonus ProTeam and bonus stage. Points are scored based on the actual performance of the cyclists and teams in the 20 individual stages, as well as their overall finishing position, with points doubled on the chosen bonus stage.

Each user can make up to 21 transfers, staggered throughout the Tour – but who will you pick?
