Revolution – 10

Bradley Wiggins back on track at Revolution 10
After a storming ride at the World Time Trial Championships, where he finished in an impressive 7th place, Bradley Wiggins is set to return to the track for a night at Revolution. After the success of the first event of the season Revolution 10, to be held on the 19th November at Manchester Velodrome, looks set to continue the tradition of a great night’s entertainment from the World’s best cyclists, and Bradley’s confirmed attendance is the crowning glory.

With the world’s top three Madison teams in the shape of Rob Hayles and Mark Cavendish, Danny Stam and Robert Slippens, Matt Gilmore and Iijo Kiesse all riding, Bradley, one of the worlds best endurance track cyclists and holder of three Olympic medals should slot in nicely to the field! Bradley himself is looking forward to a night on the boards:

“After a solid year on the road I’m glad to be able to get back on the track.  It’s always a great night at Revolution, the crowds really support the home riders.  I’m looking forward to it.”

Bradley will join forces with Team Pursuit World Champion Chris Newton to make a formidable team for the showcase Madison event. With their combined power and aggressive style Newton and Wiggins could be the riders to cause an upset and take the victory ahead of the Madison specialists.

“Chris is an aggressive rider so we’ll be looking to mix it up in the Madison and give the crowd something to cheer about. It will be a great race to watch.”

The endurance programme will also include a Team Elimination Race, 10km Points Race and the spectacular 1km Madison Time Trial.
