Women's racing

The new Luciano Cycles Development races have been developed by British Cycling’s World Class Programme’s department in conjunction with the British Cycling Road Commission and the WCRA (Women’s Cycle Racing Association). There will be four new events in the 2006 calendar to promote positive and aggressive racing amongst women in Category 2/3/4 and Junior Girls too. The 35-40 mile courses are designed to give the Junior riders a chance to get used to racing this distance as expected at the Junior World Championship event.
