Kilo To Go’s Cheshire Cat has been called the UK’s first “super-sportive”. Participants named the same organiser’s North Cornwall Tor the toughest cyclosportive; now, Kilo To Go are confident that riders will throw a number of superlatives at their newest cyclosportive – Flatout in the Fens.
For starters it takes place on the longest Sunday of the year – it needs to because it’s the UK’s longest single day cyclosportive with three route options: 77, 112 and a massive 153 miles.
Uniquely, ‘Flatout’ has no hills. It’s the flattest UK cyclosportive, utilising the longest, straightest roads in the land and travelling to the lowest point in the UK. However, flat doesn’t necessarily mean easy; sustained speed requires constant effort and there’s no free-wheeling downhill for a rest.
Find all the details about Flatout in the Fens at the Kilo To Go website where there are interactive maps, gpx files for digital mapping and GPS, start times and HQ details.
Entrants can still take advantage of Kilo To Go’s “Enter two, get the third free” credit-crunching offer – Flatout in the Fens, Wild Edric and the Tour of the Peak. Just pop two any two of these into your Kilo To Go basket and get the third one for free.
