Last night a veritable who’s who of the cycling industry, including David Millar, attended the opening evening of the latest Rouleur Photo Exhibition, on Gray’s Inn Road, London, to enjoy many of the spectacular photos from the new Rouleur Photo Annual.
The Annual is a homage to cycle racing, with a collection of photos from nine of Rouleur’s main photographers, including Ben Ingham, Camille J McMillan, Geoff Waugh, Gerard Brown, Olaf Unverzart, Rein van de Wouw, Taz Darling and Timm Kölln. There are also some illustrations from Jo Burt.
“The photographs in this volume give you a glimpse into a multitude of cycling’s many facets: the riders, the people by the road, the anonymous officials, and the different landscapes that form the backdrop for the races, from the northern Essex marshes of Dengie to the Italian Dolomites” says editor Guy Andrews.”
The exhibition is free to enter and will be open until 23 December. The venue is next door to Condor Cycles at 51 Grays Inn Road, London WC1X 8PP. It will be open from 12pm to 6pm on weekdays (late night Wednesday until 7.30pm) and 12pm to 5pm on Saturdays.
