Covent Garden specialist Cyclefit and Serotta International Cycling Institute will be presenting a professional bike fitting class in London this December.
The three day course covers cycling biomechanics and how a rider’s unique physiology will affect their riding position and bike set-up.
The course combines theory with practical workshops on correct road and time trial position, physical analysis and fit studio principles.
Cyclefit director Philip Cavell stated; ‘ ‘The course covers all the bases, from cleat position all the way though the kinetic chain to the saddle and from there to a rider’s hand position on the brake hoods’.
The classes are presented by Julian Wall and Philip Cavell of Cyclefit, aided by the experienced Paraic Mcglynn (Director of Applied Cycling Science at SICI) and Dr David Hulse (Sport Physician and Tour of Britain doctor).
The Cyclefit/SICI classes are open to anyone who has an interest in bike fitting.
