Roger Hammond hung up his clip-on shoes a couple of years ago and is currently the Team Manager of the new Madison-Genesis team. Hammond did this following a well travelled career in which he competed at the highest level in road cycling and cyclo-cross.
He was the national champion in the latter several times, winning 7 titles in the eight events between 2000-2007. He was also a consistent performer in the road cycling Classics.
