Sean Yates one of four new appointments at Tinkoff-Saxo
Former British champion and fellow ex-Sky man Bobby Julich join backroom staff for 2015
Yates will be taking the reins as the Directeur Sportif of the NTFO team for the 2014 season having worked with several of the biggest teams in the sport. His time at Team Sky culminated with Bradley Wiggins’ victory in the Tour de France and this followed successful stints at Astana and Discovery Channel.
As a rider Yates completed nine Tours, with 45th his highest finish. He became the third briton to wear the yellow jersey, doing so on stage 7 in the 1994 Tour de France.
