Colombian ace Carlos Betancur (Agr2-La Mondiale) is the man of the moment in France after storming to his second consecutive Paris-Nice stage win.
It puts Betancur into the yellow jersey with two stages remaining and in a great position to follow his Tour du Haut-Var win in his previous outing.
The Colombian stormed to victory, outsprinting Rui Costa on the uphill finish into Fayence, while Geraint Thomas (Team Sky) crossed in fourth, three seconds back.
It means the Welshman now trails Betancur by eight seconds overall, but with attacks and counter-attacks likely to continue apace over the weekend, the race is still wide open.
