The Swiss-American squad claimed its third victory in three days on the road to Zakopane, courtesy of Thor Hushovd, who moved his personal tally to two stage wins.
Had the seven strong breakaway that survived much of the race not been caught five kilometres from home, another BMC Rider, Mathais Frank, might have brought further glory to the men in red and black.
